Couldn't find a place to post this. So posted this here:

I just read this article (http://www.technewsworld.com/story/60096.html)

it seems google is doing somthing similar to Deki Wiki.. not the social networking part but creating api's for a language agnostic platform? How does this relate to Deki Wiki?

Open Social is complementary to Deki Wiki. There are two ways this may relate: Deki Wiki could become an application that sits on top of Open Social so that you can add a wiki to your social network; or Deki Wiki could be an Open Social application container so you could run Open Social applications inside Deki Wiki. I think the latter is especially interesting since wikis are already a form of social network (people around content). But I'm still waiting for things to settle a bit.
