Logo does not change

I tried to change the logo using SysAdmin but nothing happened, how could I debug it ?

I first would make sure the file (/skins/ace/common/wiki.png) is chowned to the right owner. If that's correct, I would try to set write permissions on the file (try 644). Let me know if those don't work.

Oh, and before we forget the obvious - try going to a different page and doing a hard refresh. :)

The file doesn't seems to be on disk, at least I did updatedb & locate to find the name of the temp file, but it was not there.

The upload seems not to be working.

I have the same problem. The Logo Upload is not working somehow.

You have just to replace the \skins\common\images\wiki.png file with your new site logo and it works.
It's not the proper solution, but if you go to deki installation guid for windows, you will see logo change with the Admin Tool won't work on windows.

I had to change it there web\skins\common\logo\logo.png to make it work.

Yeah on my Windows installation it doesn't work because I get an error in the Apache logs when it tries to use ImageMagick's convert.exe.

The error is: "convert.exe: invalid argument for option `'280x72': -size."

So it seems as though the application never puts the converted image in the proper location because it doesn't exist due to this conversion failure. I haven't been able to figure out how to fix it.

I just update the logo.png as well.

hey john,

we've already ported the logo functionality over to the API for the next release, so this'll follow the same code path that is used for image generation. this should resolve your issue when we release those bits (december).
