Indexing files...when?

Hi

When I upload a file to a page it's not indexed right away, like a wiki page is.. way is that??

When I run the MWUpdate --rebuild (Cron script every night) then it's indexed..
Is this right or should the file be index right away??

Odd, it should be indexing right away... I know that there was an issue with it not removing old files quickly after they had been deleted until the search index was reset because of a design flaw.

Okay.. I'm using Goosberry++ .. But I wont try fixing it, if Hayes is just around the corner.. :)

Hope this works in Hayes... I'm getting a little tired of rebuilding every time I have uploaded a WORD or PDF file...:(

Once you get Hayes running, please verify this. The index should be updated automatically for all attached and deleted files.
