Hi all,
I am trying to do something apparently very simple: using google.searchnews to search for news with a dynamic search term (i.e. the title of the page's parent). This works fine as long as there actually is a news result. If Google does not find any news results the search term is replaced by "Google" automatically.
Do you know whether one of the following is possible:
Get google.searchnews to display "no news available" (or something comparable)
Check for output of google.searchnews on the original search term and if none replace it by google.search
