Restrict Access to Pages

How can I restrict access to pages. Is the restriction inherited to subpages? Is there a good documentation?

Check this thread (http://www.opengarden.org/dekiwiki/configuration/restrictions_on_pages_do_not_work) for information on solving the restriction problem.

It is relatively simple to follow, just modify some of the article.php file as specified.

Yes, I found this out the annoying way, even though the features list claims access controls can affect entire hierarchies. But if I have a page with 1000 subpages, I apparently have to go to every single subpage & manually set the restrictions. Which is a huge downer.

DekiWiki does inherit page permissions from it's parent. What build are you using? Keep in mind, Guest permissions are not inherited, but page perms are. Guests are users that have been invited to a specific page for a pre-defined period of time via email. This just came out in the Gooseberry++ release.
