the answer is :
System startup links for /etc/init.d/dekiwiki already exist.
... and still doesn't start at startup without this request from desktop terminal :
sudo /etc/init.d/dekiwiki...
I use it in french, so I'm not shure about the translation : I'll try anyway ;-)
System > Preferences > Applications at startup > Add > Name : DekiWiki ; Command : "sudo /etc/init.d/dekiwiki...
There seems to be a conflict with XWiki also installed on the server, although it is specified to work on port 8080 and it worked before. When I stop XWiki and start DekiWiki it works !
