Default Deki-wiki server behind http proxy server

Is there any way to configure deki-wiki to use a proxy server for connecting to the Internet? Our server has no direct Internet connection and thus; cannot grab external RSS feeds. However, we do have a proxy server setup on our network that I can use for this purpose.

Is there any way I can configure deki-wiki to use the proxy server for its connections to the Internet?

Not at this point, but I'm sure you're not alone. I'll check if we can add a simple setting to the .config file to enable this in a future release.

Is there any option for the proxy now? I always get the "MagpieRSS: Failed to fetch ..." in the ControlPanel and it would be nice to see the update notification!

    thx

The update feed is fetched from PHP, which is different than when you embed feeds and so forth in pages, which are done in C#. Hence, twice the work to make it work.
