Default ThinkFree extension and files on local share

The thinkfree extension works great with files that have been uploaded to the wiki. Can it also work with files stored on a network share and if not can it be added?

ok it does work with a simple link:

    file://directory/file

but not when there are spaces between directory names or files:

    file://directory one/file one.doc

ok I figured it out just add a %20 for each space

    file://directory%20one/file%20one.doc

    Default ThinkFree api

Does the ThinkFree Api extension send any information about files being viewed offsite or is all processeing done on the wiki server?

All processing is done in your browser. The ThinkFree viewer works by downloading a Java-applet that then loads the document. Nothing leaves your computer. (At least the way I understand it).
