We're glad you like it. Currently we have no one working on a Spanish translation. We plan to being translation to German in the next couple months though. Let us know if there is anything we can help with to make this a reality.

Some of spanish translation has been done: just the main interface for demo purposes. I think it will be entirely translated when the client accept the project.

I have one problem with the months :
in the sentence : "this page was modified in March by ..."
I can't translate the word "March". I translated all the "March" occurences in language.php but nothing changed.
Another question (maybe linked with the one above) : Am I supposed to translate this four arrays in language.php ?? :
$wgWeekdayNamesEn
$wgMonthNamesEn
$wgMonthNamesGenEn
$wgMonthAbbreviationsEn

I am not sure that I have to translate them... I did it anyway and there were no changes...

That particular instance is using PHP's internal date() method to grab the month. Take a look around line 1256 in Skin.php for this code block:

if (date('m', $curTime) != date('m', $articleTimestamp)) {
return wfMsg('datemonth', date('F', $articleTimestamp));
}

I can submit a patch to write a wrapper around this method to use the internal DekiWiki translated months. Gimme a day or two.

I think all translaters are interested by your patch.

I know dates are displayed into many different pages (with different formats), and this not the only modification to do for this. But if you can find time to write this patch, it would be great

sorry i'm so delayed on this - we have some internal deadlines we're running into, so i haven't had time to work on this patch. i will be working on fixing this up shortly for the hayes release as well as backporting a temporary patch for you guys for gooseberry++

i will update this post shortly.

When you have a procedure to "easily" translate (list of files that needs to be changed or something like that) then I can translate it to Danish if you wish..

It's not the final list, but actually, with all this files translated in french, I can say 90% of text is OK

This is the part I already translated to spanish. It's just about the main interface and the main pages as I did it for demo purposes. A big part has still to be done. But it is a starting point.
By the way, I'm french (working in spain but french...) so I may have made some mistakes...
Tell me how we can collaborate on this if you are still interested to translate this great wiki .
