changing Install location
Hi, I just had an amazingly frustrating time trying to install dekiwiki (linux src ubuntu v8.08) somewhere other that /var/www/ in the end I gave up after I couldn't upload files to the wiki (it was still trying to upload them to somewhere on /var/www/).
It might be nice if in future versions the location on disk wasn't quite so hardwired - I counted the following hardwired references to /var/www/:
13 places in /etc/dekiwiki/mindtouch.deki.startup.xml
1 place in /etc/dekiwiki/mindtouch.host.conf
4 places in LocalSettings.php
1 place in /etc/init.d/dekiwiki
1 place in /etc/apache2/sites-available/dekiwiki
and also there is
/var/www/.wapi
/var/www/.config
and the mystery one that determines file upload ...
phew.
