    Default PHPmyAdmin - can not access

    Hi all,

    Tried to install phpmyadmin using the instruction from FAQ but I get the message:

    "You don't have permission to access /phpmyadmin on this server."

    Im suspecting that i don't hae permission to the folder. how do I or where can I give myself permission. I'm new to Unix command.

    I'm using VMware Wiki8.08.2

    Thanks

    ls: ?: No such file or directory
    lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 21 2009-07-07 07:29 /var/www/phpmyadmin -> /usr/share/phpmyadmin

    Hmmm, what about the contents of /etc/apache2/conf.d/phpmyadmin.conf and /etc/phpmyadmin/htaccess ?

    Hard to debug without looking directly

    ls /etc/apache2/conf.d/phpmyadmin.conf
    ls: /etc/apache2/conf.d/phpmyadmin.conf: No such file or directory

    nano /etc/apache2/conf.d/phpmyadmin.conf - returned a blank page

    Not sure if this helps.

    Note, i did what the FAQ told me to do. not sure If I have missed any steps

    Thanks

    Are you able to do a remote desktop session with me to have a look at the problem?
