No capital letters in tags allowed?

For some time past I can not create tags with capital letters. In early releases it was enabled. Can I configure this behaviour?

No chance to configure this behaviour? If i use existing tags out of the contextlist they will be written with a capital letter. All new tags are always small.

Can I use the old tagging engin to get capital letters in tags? In the forum entry
