    Default Weird Issue with Mysql DB

    So, I can get the mono issue worked out but it looks as thought something is working correctly with the database.

    I run updateWiki.sh and get:
    Code:
    -- updating wiki at /var/www/dekiwiki --
    URL: http://dekiwiki.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/dekiwiki/deki/web
    Last Changed Rev: 17459
    Last Changed Date: 2011-06-28 10:41:15 -0700 (Tue, 28 Jun 2011)
    -- updating database --
    -- restarting MindTouch --
    -- update complete --
    Browser to wiki brings up:
    Code:
    HTTP Response Status Code: 500

    An exception was thrown: Could not find specified column in results in MySql.Data
    Tried update-db.php and get:
    Code:
    Applying misc database updates...done
    A database error has occurred
    Query: INSERT  INTO `pages` (page_namespace,page_title,page_tip,page_parent,page_restriction_id,page_content_type,page_text,page_comment,page_toc,page_timestamp,page_touched,page_inverse_timestamp) VALUES ('101','Tags','Special page','0','0','text/plain','','','','','','')
    Function: Database::insert
    Error: 1054 Unknown column 'page_inverse_timestamp' in 'field list' (10.254.0.3)

    Backtrace:
    GlobalFunctions.php line 469 calls wfBacktrace()
    Database.php line 403 calls wfDebugDieBacktrace()
    Database.php line 353 calls Database::reportQueryError()
    Database.php line 994 calls Database::query()
    updaters-mindtouch.inc line 1914 calls Database::insert()
    updaters-mindtouch.inc line 20 calls do_special_pages_update()
    update-db.php line 85 calls do_all_updates()
    Appears that upgrade isn't proper setting up DB. Bummer.....

    Any ideas?

    I just hosed my dev install by updating from 10.0.8. It's on Windows Server 08 r2 (IIS 7.5).

    I ran the .msi, and the database update log was empty. The first thing was that PHP complained about the use of implode() on line 93 in web\skins\error-settings.php so I just commented it out. But when I reloaded I got the api 500 screen, so I went directly to /@api/deki and got nothing. in /@api there's only

    <error><status>404</status><title>Not Found</title><message>resource not found</message></error>

    I can't find anything too incriminating in the dream log. If anybody has any ideas or wants any logs, let me know and I'll gladly send them.
    Hope it helps
    -Greg

    Default loadeditor.php not found

    Hi,
    Upgrade seems to have worked, but editing a page does not work anymore. In the logs we find "loadeditor.php not found". Reverted back to old version 10.0.9-1. Debian squeeze.
    Regards, Walter

    Default Crash after update

    Crashing after update - all a bit painful - it seems to work well until anyone attempts to load any extensions or modules.
    Looks like there is another crash around wikidb.query_recommendations

    Ah didn't update the mono version
    Still looks like there are some tables missing though

    Default Mac/Mono Mysql Connection Bug

    I've just been pulling my hair out trying to get MindTouch 10.1 on my Mac (development machine), and may have stumbled on a bug affecting Mac/Mono 2.10.2 users.

    I'm seeing this error:

    Code:
    The API says: wiki 'default' has failed to initialize or did not start up properly:
    Initialization exception: MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlException: Unable to connect to any of the specified MySQL hosts. --->
    System.Exception: Exception of type 'System.Exception' was thrown. at MySql.Data.MySqlClient.NativeDriver.Open () [0x00000] in :0

    I believe the problem derives from an bug in Mono 2.10.2 affecting Mac users. Here's a link describing the problem:

    Default Upgrade from 10.0.8 to 10.1 fails

    I have upgraded from Mindtouch 10.0.8 to 10.1 but unfortunately the upgrade doesn't work. At first the homepage of the wiki shows up but sonn after browsing through one or two pages or when I try to enter the management console, I get the message that the site settings could not be loaded.

    We are running the Wiki on SLES SP2 and before upgrading the wiki I installed the necessary version of mono (2.4.3.1).

    I get a quite long debug log, starting with:

    Code:

    Hi All, long time no talk.

    I tried upgrading from 9.12 following this recipe, which necessitated upgrading debian from etch to lenny (this is a Mindtouch vm appliance from v8 days). I used this guide for the debian upgrade. Mono was not 2.10, so I compiled from source as per these instructions.

    When I point a browser at my mindtouch-vm I get the error:

    The API says: wiki 'default' has failed to initialize or did not start up properly: Initialization exception: System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'MindTouch.Deki.Data.MySql.MySqlDekiDataSessionFac tory' from assembly 'mindtouch.deki.data.mysql, Version=10.1.0.27751, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b17e0197b56911d2'. at (wrapper managed-to-native) System.MonoType:GetConstructors_internal (System.Reflection.BindingFlags,System.Type) at System.MonoType.GetConstructors (BindingFlags bindingAttr) [0x00000] at System.MonoType.GetConstructorImpl (BindingFlags bindingAttr, System.Reflection.Binder binder, CallingConventions callConvention, System.Type[] types, System.Reflection.ParameterModifier[] modifiers) [0x00000] at System.Type.GetConstructor (BindingFlags bindingAttr, System.Reflection.Binder binder, CallingConventions callConvention, System.Type[] types, System.Reflection.ParameterModifier[] modifiers) [0x00000] at System.Type.GetConstructor (System.Type[] types) [0x00000] at MindTouch.Deki.DekiInstance.Startup (MindTouch.Deki.DekiContext context) [0x00000]

    To troubleshoot I disabled my dekiwiki using `a2dissite dekiwiki`, copied /etc/apache2/sites-available/dekwiki.dpkg-new to .../v10 and enabled it using `a2ensite v10` and restarted apache (`/etc/init.d/apache2 restart`).

    The apache error log (/var/log/apache2/error.log) seems happy:

    [Wed Aug 03 05:09:07 2011] [notice] caught SIGTERM, shutting down
    [Wed Aug 03 05:09:08 2011] [notice] Apache/2.2.9 (Debian) mod_auth_kerb/5.3 PHP/5.2.6-1+lenny13 with Suhosin-Patch configured -- resuming normal operations

    access-dekiwiki.log:

    error-dekiwiki.log: is empty 0 byte file.

    where do I go from here?

    thanks!

    Looks like this bug perhaps: http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp...net.devel/2984

    You need to run Mono 2.10 to run 10.1.

    Matt! Buddy!

    I miss the old-timers.

    The API says: wiki 'default' has failed to initialize or did not start up properly: Initialization exception: System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'MindTouch.Deki.Data.MySql.MySqlDekiDataSessionFac tory' from assembly 'mindtouch.deki.data.mysql, Version=10.1.0.27751, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b17e0197b56911d2'. at (wrapper managed-to-native) System.MonoType:GetConstructors_internal (System.Reflection.BindingFlags,System.Type) at System.MonoType.GetConstructors (BindingFlags
    Can you check if you have mindtouch.deki.data.mysql.dll in your bin directory? Is it the right version?
