New Theme... How can i active it

Hi,

I have root acess and i want to create a new skin. But how can i activate it? It does not show up in control panel in the selection skin options.

Anyone? Help would be appreciated because i dont know how can i do this

I would like to backup the new theme also so i can apply it to a new wiki but keeping the same style!
To do the backup can i save the skin folder and apply it to the new wiki?

Just make a copy of one of the skin folders you want to customize and that already appear in the control panel. If the base skin is not shown in the control panel, it might be considered either obsolete or beta. In that case, select the appropriate option to reveal it in the control panel.
