MindTouch 10.1.3 & PHP 5.4

Hey I am trying to get a new server setup for MindTouch 10.1.3 and well I am running into this when I go to the setup page:

I am running:
MySQL 5.5.22
Apache 2.2.22
PHP 5.4.0

I have everything installed via the RPM system on a CentOS 5.7 server.

Any one have any idea why I am getting that error?

Well sure enough... I did a downgrade on php from 5.4.0 to 5.3.10 and now the setup pages come up.
