MT 10.1.13 on Windows 7 64-bit with XAMPP

Following the instructions on the Installing_MindTouch_Core_on_Windows_(Apache) page, I got MindTouch running on XAMPP but with errors that I needed to set the paths for ImageMagick and Prince.

Then Apache stopped and wouldn't restart until I commented out the Include conf/deki-apache.conf line in httpd.conf.

I can still load MindTouch but I get the "specify the path to Prince" message. Advanced Configuration section of what? One of the PHP files?

I moved the files to c:\deki as in the instructions and install proceeded to the "Please run the following commands manually from the command line to complete your installation" page. The mindtouch.host.bat command produced this output:

Looks like a PHP configuration issue. What version of PHP is installed? Also, check the developer site for php.ini recommendations.

I started over. Here's where I'm currently stuck:

One of the instructions for configuring PHP for MindTouch is to enable MIME Magic in php.ini:

extension=php_mime_magic.dll

I don't find that option in php.ini, nor do I find php_mime_magic.dll in the installation directory. I do find these lines in php.ini:

mime_magic.magicfile = "C:\xampp\php\extras\magic.mime"
;mime_magic.debug = On

However, C:\xampp\php\extras\magic.mime does not exist, even though C:\xampp\php\install.txt says it's bundled. The only module I find is for Apache (C:\xampp\apache\modules\mod_mime_magic.so).

Looking at the PHP documentation, I see a warning, "Mimetype extensions has been removed from PHP 5.3.0 in favor of Fileinfo."

No help for this MIME Magic issue? PHP 5.3 has been out for almost three years so I have to think this is just a documentation issue.
