Core on CentOS 5.x error on activate license

Install via yum following procedure at http://developer.mindtouch.com/en/do...ling_on_CentOS

try to activate license and get a 500 error.
I don't see any smoking gun issues in error-dekiwiki.log, or access-dekiwiki.log

Where/what is updated by the "activate license" process could it be a permissions issue on a dir?

Found the issue, the mindtouch.deki.startup.xml did not have a valid <host></host> entry.
